Trance Dance Ritual is a contemporary ritual created and developed in the late 1980s at the Institute Natale in Houston, USA by Frank Natale and Wilbert Alix.
It has this ancestral, animistic, shamanic root, of using dance, movement and rhythm as a way of connecting to something greater than us, as a way of gaining wisdom and expanding consciousness.
Trance Dance is a catalyst of awareness, experience, wisdom, clarity, expanding the inner universe and opening up new possibilities. The Ritual Trance Dance has the purpose of evolution, transformation… the awakening of the body’s intelligence and wisdom and the heart’s vision!
